Trade talks between the U.S and China ended yesterday without an agreement being reached. The Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to is scheduled to speak about monetary policy in a changing economy in Jackson Hole, Wyoming today at 10:00. On the economic calendar; Durable Good Orders at 8:30 am ET. The Baker Hughes rig count number at 1:00 pm ET.

Equity markets –

S&P futures are trading higher this morning, (+0.18%)

Asian markets were mixed overnight.

Atlanta Fed Bank President Raphael Bostic spoke yesterday and repeated his expectation for one more interest rate hike this year. Bostic said, recent global events add downside risk to the U.S. outlook. The swift decline in the Turkish lira took officials by surprise. Bostic is a voting member of the Fed's interest-rate committee this year. The market has priced in two more rate hike in 2018. On the economic calendar; The Fed will be released today at 8:55 am ET
